Burton B, played their 2nd visit to Ormonde Fields, in this years (2023) Taskers Competition, firstly losing in the ‘Trophy’ to OFGC ‘C’, which earn’t  them today’s ‘Plate’ match, against OFGC ‘B’ team. Resulting in a 5 – 2 victory for OFGC ‘B’. Post match,  on a sun soaked terrace, all 14 players, commented that the individual tie’s were very competitive,  but played in the true spirit of match-play golf. After a few drinks/stories/banter, we parted as friends. I would like to compliment the Burton B, for being a great set of guys, and hope to play them again, in future games, maybe at Burton!
