Sunday 24th of September saw the finals of the 2023 Taskers Trophy Competitions at Beeston Fields Golf Club

Hallamshire played Brierley Forest with Hallamshire being triumphant in winning the 2023 Taskers Trophy.

Spalding won the Burtoft Trophy and defeated Lingdale Ladies

Uttoxeter won and retained the Taskers Plate, having also won last year, having played Cosby.

All finalist participants were presented with mementoes of their day. The winning teams were presented with the Trophies for their respective competition along with mementoes at the prize presentation hosted by Mike Crawford, representing our sponsor Taskers UK.

Following the prize presentation, funding was presented to participating county unions and associations, Nottinghamshire, Leicester & Rutland, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Sheffield & Yorkshire, Warwickshire and Lincolnshire all for the development of Junior Golf in their counties. This year 100% of all entry fees have been given back to grassroots junior golf development. Further reports will be posted in the forthcoming weeks and months as counties complete their funding applications

Thanks were given to Beeston Fields Golf Club, for providing a well-conditioned course, and the excellent hospitality and catering provided by all the club. The committee always seeks to host the final and semi-finals at neutral courses.
