A fantastic match against Retford – both legs played in great spirit.  Retford won their Home leg 5 matches to 2. The return match took place at Chevin on Friday 2nd May.

After the 7 singles matches – Chevin won 5 matches to Retfords 2 – so it was tied overall 7 matches each.  So the nominated three players from each team went out again for the extra 3 holes – our Home advantage proved the decider with us winning those three matches – to seal an overall victory.  Many thanks to my Chevin players for a fantastic fightback.  Also a big thanks to Retford ladies for such a great context.
