Burton-on-Trent ladies battled hard for the first leg of round one against Branston A on a beautiful spring day. With 6 games completed and the result at 3-3, both teams waited for the final live game to conclude. After a halve on the 18th they set off back to the first, unfortunately a putt which lipped out sealed the game resulting in an overall win for Branston. It’s all to play for at the away match later this month.
