The random nature of the draw threw up some interesting pairs with five pairings having a greater than 6 shot differential. The standard of golf in all matches was excellent and there is no doubt that local knowledge of the excellent but tricky greens helped Rushcliffe to the win. Charnwood arrived with quite the entourage which was lovely to see and all enjoyed the course ambiance , the cooler weather and the pasties at the half way house.
