When you’re playing a course two and a bit hours away – we recommend getting a car to take you there – and that’s what the Pink Ladies did from Little Aston today.  After chewing the cud we arrived at Spalding before we had chance to think about golf.  Receiving a warm welcome from Spalding we tee’d off at 12 noon on the dot.  It was a joy to play on a Championship course with fairways that didn’t send your balls bouncing wayward and greens that were true.  The weather was sublime and it was a fabulous day out.  Thank you to all the Spalding ladies and their caddies – special shout out for Anita she was the perfect caddie for her partner and was extremely kind to her opponent.

Needless to say that being driven home enabled us to have our picnic and a few bubbles on the way home.  All in all a lovely day out – thank you Spalding Ladies.
