Competition Info

Please ensure you know your team playing order, as confirmed by your Team Captain to the Official Starter. The Official Starter will call players to the tee before the match, ensure you are ready to play!

Remember this is the final of Three Competitions team match-play competitions so there will be a large number of players and supporters around the tee and clubhouse.

On the tee, please ensure the following match is available and ready on the 1st tee as the preceding match tees off.  No tee times are given for matches, as soon as the 1st hole is deemed clear by the starter the next match will tee off. Please ensure you listen for announcements from the official starter. Officials may be present on the course.

Results of individual matches are to be reported to an Official and the Team Captain – upon reporting a result the players shall be issued a drink voucher to be redeemed at the bar for a beverage on behalf of the committee and sponsor Taskers UK.

The Team Captains of both teams should be present in agreeing to the overall match result and be reported to a Competition official.

If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to ask a committee member or competition official. Enjoy your Final!

Weather; Beeston Fields is built on very well-draining ground, rain is currently forecast so please do come prepared to play for the weather as always!

Key Competition Rules

So that a definite result of a match can be obtained, every game must be played to a finish, i.e. if a game is all square after the 18th hole, the game is concluded by a sudden death play-off.  With agreement of both Team Captains, matches may be recorded as a draw if the team result is in no doubt.
