Green fees on match day #

It is customary for the home team to provide courtesy of the course for the playing of the match, meaning away players are not charged a green fee on the day.

However, if the home club does require a fee and the away team finds this unacceptable, the away team may request that the match be played at their course instead, under Rule 3a.

Practice rounds and courtesy of the course before match day #

The home club decides whether to offer courtesy rounds prior to match day. Taking part in the competition does not automatically entitle visiting teams to free practice rounds before the event.

See Rule 3d: In all rounds (including the Final), it is the prerogative of the host club to offer or decline courtesy of the course prior to the day of the event. Such rounds are not sanctioned by the organisers and are entirely at the discretion of the host club.
