Data required for the administration and operation of the Inter-Club Golf Competitions

We collect the following information:

Name, telephone numbers, email, if you are a team captain or club secretary, or if you use our contact form or interact with comments or submitting posts to the 19th; Your permission and consent are obtained, as a Team Captain or Club Secretary/Contact to share your contact details, name, email and telephone numbers, to other entrants in the Inter-Club Competition, upon entry to the competition. This information is held securely on this website and can only be accessed by team captains and secretaries with a valid email address and password. This information is held so team captains and secretaries can organise matches.

Names and Handicaps of players who have competed in a match; we use this information to ensure the team complies with the competition rules, including handicap and players representing only one active team. This information is retained for 12 months

Other information we may collect on this website includes

  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

We require this information to understand your needs and provide the Inter-Club Golf Competition service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services
  • We use the contact details gathered to inform you about the progress of the competition
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
