A very tight match going down to the last match for a result.

The course was in great condition and the weather stayed  fair and warming up as the afternoon progressed.

It was down to the last pairing for the

the match to be decided and it turned out to be the same pairing who met the last time the two sides met and it went down to the final hole when Kevin won again against Ian, the same result as the last time the teams met.

Well played Alfreton, good set of lads, all games played in the true spirit that we have come to expect in these games.

Hope you progress further in the comp, good luck and thanks for a great match.

Thanks again to all the men from Ashby for making it so easy to get a team and supporting me as your very proud captain.

Stay safe and play well.

Hope all the Alfreton players arrived home safe and sound.
