Taking on these familiar finalist teams were newer finalist team names, Lees Hall has only been competing in the ladies Inter-Club for 2 years and this year made it to the final, and Mapperley who always enter a vast number of teams had now made the finals of the competition.

Following the prize presentation, funding was presented to participating county unions and associations, Nottinghamshire, Leicester & Rutland, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Sheffield & Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Lancashire, all for the development of Junior Golf in their counties. This year 100% of all entry fees has been given back to grassroots junior golf development. Further reports will be posted in the forthcoming weeks and months and counties complete their funding applications.
Thanks were also given to Beeston Fields Golf Club, for providing a well-conditioned course, the excellent hospitality and catering provided by all the club. The committee always seeks to host the final and semi-finals at neutral courses.
Don’t just take our word for it…
