The weather was hot and the golf followed suit. Most of the games we’re close affairs. The last match was decided on a sudden death play off between Tony Wood & M Rascbeck  Tony finishing off with a win on the first play off hole.

Has is the norm for these matches all played in good spirit and two very friendly teams enjoyed a pint after the golf was finished all ready for a cooling  well deserved drink.

Hope Ian and his team had a safe journey home.

Thanks to my players for putting in good performances the team welcomed Steve  Kelly and Nigel ford to our team when some of our regular team members could not make it.

Well done Ashby looking forward to our next match.

And once again thanks to Ashbourne for a great match, and to our players for playing the game in the right spirit that we have come to expect.
