The funding from the Taskers Trophy helps with the continued improvement of the girls across all age ranges. With the training program, friendly and county games played throughout the season, the girls often continue to play golf when they get older – thereby developing and trying to grow the ladies game further.

Our coaching is still done in conjunction with 3 Hammers Golf Academy under the watchful eye of Rob Bluck.
We have an Elite squad of over 20 girls and a development squad of around 15. The girls play friendly matches, handicap matches and scratch matches throughout the summer. There is also coaching for younger golfers in the winter months.

Our Junior County team continues to be successful and last year Katie Symonds was chosen for England Golf training.

The funding will be used to continue with the successful training program offered to juniors. As mentioned above the coaching is run by Rob Bluck at Three Hammers Golf Academy.

In addition, this year, we had a very successful junior camp at Hawkstone Park where the juniors were able to spend time developing their skills further and bonding – thereby strengthening the team ethos.

Our juniors continue to perform strongly in the Midlands North Region (MNR) events held in the year.

We are very grateful to Taskers and thank them for their continuing support
